Parting is such Un-sweet Sorrow!

Whoever said parting is such sweet sorrow is a bloody JERK!

Well ok, here is the story, you think I was really going to leave you with that one opening line!! Psht you should know me better by now.

Well anyway heres the scoop!

As you may or may not remember, depending on when you started reading my blogs, that we had about 10 cats.

Allow me to re-iterate the list:

Scooter
Pan
Midnight
Scrappy
Rascal
Spot
Mauzer
Hightower
Thomas O'Malley
Silver

Silver is actually a new addition to the group, he had to be rescued from Wal-Mart. But only to released again I affraid..

My Schindlers lists consists of, Scooter, Pan, Midnight, Mauzer, and Hightower. All cats nots mentioned in this list have been released... We would have rather had given them homes... But no one wants cats around here and it would cost $100 to take them to a shelter which we do not have!!!

I mean jeeze seeing the look on Misty's face when we dropped them off, which by the way was a nice open field away from roads and we dropped some food off with them, broke my heart.

I loved tose cats too, but I felt i dare not show it otherwsie she might have broken down... I needed to be strong for her or so I felt. Was that wrong of me?

Not the whol cat dropping off thing. I know that was wrong, but when it comes to feeding my family or the cats, I choose the family, wife and baby. I barely eat as it is, like one meal every two days...

Thats not the end of it, we need to say goodbye to some of the dogs too, that we also love. Again the animal shelter would charge $20 a head for the dogs and we have five we wanna take to the shelter thats $100 again... Also the shelter is full, so we would pay them there money and they would just give them to animal control and have them put down probably. We know a nice place out near the country that we think they would enjoy, nice big field to run around in and plenty of other little animals to hunt... Still breaks my heart to have to let them go.

There is nothing sweet about this, but in all honesty we brought this upon ourselves, took in to many animals (all of these are strays by the way) before we were ready or had the money to support them... So we got attached only to find ourselves having to say goodbye.

This SUCKS!!

Moral of the story: Dont exceed your limit, although your heart may be huge and can support many animals with love, if your pocket is too thin, you may have to break your heart in order to survive.
